This is a lot of 4 of The Scotsman newspapers, published in Edinburgh, Scotland by Charles MacLaren. They are dated November 16, November 30, December 3, and December 24, 1825. These are fairly small format newspapers that measure 10-1/2" by 15" and contain 8 pages each. These are a political and literary journal and contain news from parliament, general news, some literary stories and articles, and lots of ads. All are in fairly good condition with some wear spots - 1 has some foxing, 1 has a small hole through the front sheet - good rag paper - not brittle. All have a full or partial red tax stamp in lower front corner of front page. 1825 Scottland
